(3 of 3) The thing about doing hyper-local news is that a lot of the time I don’t get out to report on big stuff in LA. I was feeling guilty, to be honest, but 4 of Alhambra’s high schoolers pulled together 200 people in 24 hours to march on city hall in support of Black Lives Matter and to protest the killing of George Floyd. It was an important moment for this community and important for us to be there. #photojournalism #photography #journalism
